Finally some good news. Over 1,000 Congolese soldiers have left Virunga National Park, with their families – so that is about 6,000 people in total – for good. Talks between the army and the Congolese Wildlife Authority (that we blogged about last week), so between General Vainqueur Mayala and Emmanuel, worked out and yesterday the army finally finished moving out.
